The Artistic Stamper - December challenge

Hello,
Stamping onto pattern paper is a great way to create a quick card.  Then to really make the image pop, highlight parts of the design lightly with chalks or colored pencils.  By incorporating the design of the stamp into the pattern paper you save yourself some time.  I stamped Santa's sleigh off the edge of the paper, added faux stitching with a white gel pen, and then matte it with plaid paper.

This month's challenge is "Christmas" and can be interpreted any way you like. To join in with this challenge, make a piece of artwork that includes the theme and some rubber stamping. Then link up your project using the Inklinkz HERE so that they can see what you've made.  Leave a comment to let them know you have joined in with the challenge.  As always, there will be a prize for one randomly picked entrant.  The winner will receive a stamp of their choice from The Artistic Stamper.  The challenge is limited to 3 entries per person.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: They are inviting you to create something for the Christmas/Winter Holidays.  It could be a last minute Christmas/New Year card or a creation to decorate your home.  As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is "Stitch It " which can be real or faux. You can find the complete list of rules to participate HERE.  Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to spend at the Simon Says Stamp Store.

The Artistic Stamper - December Challenge

Here is my stamped Christmas angel tag ornament.  She was stamped directly onto muslin fabric, cut into a tag shape, and machine stitched together. The pine branches were also stamped onto muslin. The wooden peace sentiment was embossed with gold glitter powder. A bit of gold organza fabric was inserted to create the 3D wings.

This is my first "Quick Ideas" to share with you.  I made a background with ink, spray mist, and one stamp.  The background was so quick to do.  Splattering gold mist really worked well to create that grunge look. Micro beads were a fun addition that gave the card some much needed texture.

Other Supplies:  blue distress ink pad, gold spray mist, black ink pad, flower stamp, embossing powder, heat gun, gold micro beads, liquid adhesive, 6x6" cardbase
