If you feel intimidated by stamping backgrounds, then fear no more. One stamp and an ombre ink pad are all you need. By using an ombre ink pad with multiple colors you can create a rich background full of depth. You can create stunning backgrounds with little effort that make even a beginner seem like an expert.
Isn't this the cutest little beach umbrella??? It works perfectly with my sentiment and tropical floral background paper. My card is entered into the Crafts Dreamy July 2018 Challenge. This card is also entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to use a "die &/or punch." I stamped the summer sentiment with an ombre ink pad and then cut it with a circle punch to make a sun and complete the fun beach card.A $50 voucher is up for grabs for one lucky participant.
The inspirational mood board and guidelines to enter can be found HERE.
I was inspired to try a diagonal color blocked distressed background based on the patriotic mood board. This is my submission for the Creative Embellishments July Challenge. Visit HERE to be inspired by the mood board.

I hope you enjoy my ATC trio inspired by the new tropical images from Blank Page Muse. I used a single ink to stamp the images and then used a waterbrush to highlight the designs using the same ink.
