Stuck Sketches Challenge Blog

I was tempted by a lovely sketch by Laura Whitaker from Stuck Sketches to create this layout.  My layout features my nephew at only 2 weeks old. There are lots of detailed embellishments not to be missed. I especially enjoyed incorporating printed transparency frames and using delicate pastel colors.  I just loved the off the page design and that the sketch used 2 photos the same size.
Go take a peak at the sketch over at Stuck Sketches.
There is still time to participate as the deadline is Oct 29. You can find out all the details at
Stuck Sketches Challenge Blog.

Believe In Yourself Card:

Craft Stamper Magazine is also have an Autumnal Challenge this month and there is still time to enter. The deadline for the linked up blogpost is October 26 so get stamping.  You can find all the guidelines to enter HERE.

I chose to work with rust, copper, and mustard shades to create this autumnal background. After misting the background, I randomly stamped RD Grunge Swirls over the paper and then added a row of bare trees. I featured a lovely quote embossed onto vellum with metallic copper.  Then I mounted it over a creme circle and used gold mirror cardstock to matte it.
