Enchanting Mermaid Mask

Today I am bringing an enchanting mermaid masquerade mask.  I planned to give this to my little niece but it turned out so well I had to keep it for myself.  I prefer to hold a mask and not wear one but this project could just as easily be done on a standard mask with an elastic strap.  I used one small real seashell while the rest of them are buttons or plastic charms. Check out the full tutorial HERE.

Cute Pumpkin Layout

If you struggle adhering gems or maybe you avoid them all together because they're too much trouble, then the ScraPerfect has the solution.  The Embellie Gellie is the ideal tool for itsy bitsy and it also makes crafting with fragile bits so much easier.   The Embellie Gellie has the perfect amount of stickiness to transport a gem or bead and place it exactly where I want it accurately. Once you've tried ScraPerfect products, you will wonder how you ever got along without them.  Precision and convenience are the perfect combo!  The full tutorial can be found on the ScraPerfect Blog....HERE.

As toddlers who are in the process of learning to walk are always on the move, I was thrilled to capture a few pictures together with my niece that weren't just a blur.  So the "Quick" challenge was meaningful to me as the photo opportunity with little ones is short so you have to be quick to grab your camera and snap the shots before you endure the wrath of a grumpy toddler who is being held when they really want their freedom to explore.

The Witch is In

My card has many elements but the single spider attached by a silver thread is my favorite part.  It will fly freely when the card is touched to add a bit of fright & delight!  The spider web background adds a subtle spookiness which looks especially delightful after I added some glittering highlights with a shimmer gel pen.

Happy Halloween!
