Stained Glass Flower

It is very hard for me to do CAS as I am known as an over-embellisher among my crafting friends.  Knowing when to stop is critical.  This lone flower was rejected from another project as the colors didn't match well so it got to be the star of it's own show.  Serendipity!

Enjoy Today (Time is Ticking)

I fussy cut the three large clocks from 12x12" scrapbook paper.  Once I saw the paper with the roses on grey, I knew it would be a perfect match.  I love the scroll chipboard frame that my friend gifted me so I dug out some crackle paint and went to work.  Lots of doilies, scallops and feminine touches.

Tiny Mermaid Card

Hey There,
I must confess this is the first time I tried to use an embossing folder on glitter card stock and I'm so glad I tried it.  To really make the bubbles jump off the page, I added Glossy Accents over some of them.  I do love the effect.

Summer-Time Layout

I used numerous colors and various sizes of Dew Drops to create bubbly clusters and add a sense of movement to a fun Summer layout.  Come on over the Robin's Nest Blog to see the full tutorial.  HERE
TIP:  To avoid disappointment and frustration, place Dew Drops on the layout without adhesive to practice the arrangement.  When you are satisfied, adhere them replacing the loose Dew Drops one at a time.  Alternatively, take a photo of the layout before you move anything so that you can refer to it when you are ready to glue everything into place.

The Secret Door

I enjoyed all the tiny details that this "Alice In Wonderland" themed card pulled together...clocks, a wooden door, metal keys/locks/gears, distressed rough edges, worn pages, pocket watches, & arrows.  Only two of the images came from a dedicated AIW set so most of the images I was able to incorporate were from my stash of stamps of vintage clocks, script/text, & keys.

The Mustache Made Me Do It

Oh boy, I wish I was there the day this series of funny photos were taken of my nephew but at least my sister captured this silly moment for me to scrapbook.  I created the wooden chevron stripe to coordinate with the design on his bib and then embossed it with a mustaches.  At this age, he was loving his tricycle so I stamped a tricycle onto acetate multiple times getting lighter with each impression to create a sense of movement.  Don't forget a fresh fruit smoothie makes everything better!  (& it makes the best mustaches!)
