XOXO Layout

Hey There,
I was inspired by the pastel colors and the beautiful baby close up in the Splashy Mix moodboard.  I combined many small patterns and woodgrain pattern paper with subtle soft shades, as well as, used some wooden embellishments. (XOXO & people)  I used stripes down the left side as well as, scalloped edge flowers.  A family layout seemed so appropriate as we are in the season of Thanksgiving and counting our blessings.

Congratulations Card!

I wish I actually new someone getting married.  I just really wanted to use this cute little couple.  I used watercolor pencils to shade them.  Then I added lots of details with patterned paper, embossed floral leaves, and a lacy border edge.  I loved the delicate pink flourish and tiny butterflies to finish it off....and they lived happily ever after.

Ahoy Captain! - Pirate Map

I know I'm a little late to the party but look how fun this is. I created an authentic looking map for my nephew as he dressed as a pirate for Halloween. Actually, my sister, her husband, 2 kiddos, Grandma, and I (Aunt) were a gang of pirates. I even designed the map to been based on the area they live in which is surrounded by mountains with two lakes.
