Start Again Card - Sin City Stamps

Hi Girls,
Today I have a vintage style friendship card.   I created the background with layers of overlapping masking tape which adds a beautiful subtle wrinkly texture. The paints accentuate all the crevices and is a very effective way to create an aged look so it is very versatile for any vintage & distressed project. I hope you will try this simple technique to create a textured  background because I'm sure you will love it too.

You can find the tutorial today on the Sin City Stamps Blog.  HERE

Supplies:
1. Birds Clocks Rubber Stamp Set

6. masking tape
7. sponge applicator

Rinea Foil Scrapbooking Title

Check out my YouTube Video of a quick & easy Valentine's Day layout.  All you need are four photos and bit of vellum, transparency, and Ruby Foil to make this project so unique. Rinea paper foils die cut beautifully.  I used metallic red foil to die cut the title and then cut it in vellum to offset over the foil.  I also used a mini paper punch to cut some small hearts.  I think you will agree, it is stunning in its simplicity.
You can find the step by step video HERE.

Supplies: Ruby - Metallic Paper Foil (Rinea), love die cutter, die cutting machine, transparency, mini heart paper punch, silver permanent marker, Brilliance Moonlight White Ink Pad (Tsukineko), Red Glitter Sorbet Cardstock / Vellum Glitter Red Spatter / Teen Girl Stickers / Cherry Kisses Archival Seeds / Hearts Dew Drops (The Robin's Nest)

Heart Paper Chain Decorations - Rinea Design Team

Today's project features Rinea double sided metallic foil. I wanted to add a bit of Valentine's touches in my dining room but wanted something quick, inexpensive, & not too cutsie.  I chose red & pink paper foil because of it's lovely metallic sheen. Luckily, the paper foil is double sided with gold which suited my project perfectly. Heart paper chains are easy to make yet elegant to display. I think you will agree, they are simple yet sophisticated.

Heart chains hang from the light fixture over the dining table.

Heart chains hang from the metal wall art in the dining room.

Supplies: Rinea paper-foil 10-pack 15 cm x 25 cm (6" x 10") - Glossy Red/Gold & Glossy Pink/Gold, baker's twine, double sided tape

Directions:
1. Apply a strip of double sided tape along the edge of a piece of paper foil.
2. Cut strips .5"x 6" (Each strip should have a bit of double sided tape.)
3. Fold each strip in half.
4. Gently curve each end in, remove baking paper, and attach ends together.
5. To join hearts, insert the end through the previous paper heart and adhere the ends.
6. Before adhering the last heart to the chain, attach the ends of a piece of baker's twine between the paper foil to form a loop and secure.
