Learning to Talk Layout

My niece is magical. It has been amazing spend time with her this year learning to talk. I incorporated many of her first words into the speech bubble background paper. The spirals in the mood-board inspired me to incorporate many different pattern papers. I ignored the shades of blue and only used the grey, aqua, and pink to accentuate the little girl layout. The bubbly clusters made with Dew Drop gems brought a subtle sense of movement.
You can find out more details about how I made this layout HERE.

Love this Photo Layout

This photo is one of my most favorite because I was holding my newborn nephew at the time when my husband captured this moment. The rainbow lace background was created with fabric lace used as a stencil. After I attached strips of double sided tape to white card stock, I secured the lace down onto the tape.   I applied white glitter through the lace and tapped it down gently with my finger.  Then I shook off the excess glitter and carefully removed the lace.  Next, I strategically applied different colors of glitter over the design one color at a time to avoid cross contaminating the glitter.  Lastly, I added Dew Drops over the background to create a sense of joyful bubbly movement.

Welcome to the World Layout

I got inspired by the celestial mood-board infused with the miracle of new life.   I created a little jar of magical wishing stars in the lower right corner.  To make the jar, I stamped onto acetate with permanent ink.  I heat embossed the intricate circle chipboard frame with pearl white which was a perfect frame for my newborn niece.

Magical Fairy's Profile Card

I used Distress Oxide inks to create the appearance of an opalescent background.  The mood board inspired me to create a whimsical and magical card with an ethereal atmosphere.  Her flourish filled hair brought a dainty fairy-like quality.

Oh So Lovely Layout Sneak Peek

It is so easy to add metallic foil accents to chipboard embellishments and it is a more cost effective way to add a bit of bling to your projects with buying expensive pre-foiled sets.  It allows you the freedom to control the amount of foil you would like to have.  You can see below how I added intricate details using the thin tip to add just an extra bit of pink metallic wonderfulness.

Come and see the whole layout and directions HERE on the ScraPerfect Blog.
