Together

I love how this chipboard frame accentuates the main photo.  First, I painted it with gold acrylic paint and then added a second coat of white crackle paint over that.  Scroll down to take a look at the other photos and get a close up look at the gorgeous crackles.

All You Need is Love

I had a great time coloring these roses with Distress Oxide Ink.  I love the matte finish.  This such a great design I can't wait to make more of them in different colors.
Here is a better shot of the glitter and shine!

Rain Rain Go Away Layout - The Robin's Nest

Hi There,
What do you do when you don't have nice fancy shoes to wear with your pretty dress? Well if you're my niece, you grab your brightest little rain boots. I created this layout totally around her cute owl rain boots. This is real life at its best.  We took them to the mall for a sibling photo shoot.
Tear Drops make the perfect raindrop accents for your Spring-time projects.

Sweet Layout

Hello Ladies,
I loved combining lime green and pinks and fell in love with the little teal blue birds on the background paper.  It doesn't get more "girly" than a 2 year old in a bold pink daisy romper!

Let's Make Ladybugs

I going to share how to easily assemble these cute tiny ladybug embellishments.  I simply created my own glue dots with the Best Glue Ever and then used the Embellie Gellie tool to place them perfectly.  It makes it so simple and ends the frustration of trying to pick up tiny embellishments any other way.   Use a black permanent marker to quickly add spots to the red tear drop gems.

Other Supplies:  card base (5x7")
tan card stock
floral & sentiment stamp
black ink pad
coral distress oxide ink pad
water color paints
paint brush
white gel pen
thin tip permanent black marker
eyelet trim

Fabulous Ladybug & Brother Layout

I'd love to share how I adhere trims and ribbons quickly and easily. Simply apply Best Glue Ever (BGE) directly to the back of the trim. Set it aside and allow it 2-3 minutes to dry and become transparent yet tacky. You can find the step-by-step tutorial HERE on ScraPerfect Blog.  I was inspired by her ladybug dress and the Spring-like imagery in the moodboard.  The very bright flowery paper tied it all together.

BGE is great because it can be applied to ribbon without seeping through. An extra benefit: when dry, the glue is repositionable so if you apply a trim crooked, you can remove it and try again. Most double sided adhesives do not allow you to correct mistakes and move an embellishment after it has been adhered without causing serious damage to the project.  BGE to save the day!
