This is the Life! (A Pirates Life for Me)

Ahoy! I spotted a pirate family.  I had so much to fit on this page.  The chain frame was a perfect fit for my pirate family after I heat embossed it silver.  Be on the look out for a gold coin, a map, an anchor charm, eye patch, compass, and a key.  I fussy cut some of the photos and really love how the telescope became more prominent.  I was able to include so many more embellishments by discarding unnecessary photo backgrounds which also made more of the wood grain paper visible.

Other Supplies:
silver embossing powder, black ink pad, map stamp (Blank Page Muse)
Dew Drops  (The Robin's Nest), twine, feather, skull, pumpkin, mustache, anchor charm, glitter

Ghost Pirate Ship Card

Land Ahoy!
I had so much I wanted to fit on this card...keys, compass, maps, lock, woodgrain (gotta walk the plank), skull, ship's wheel, sword, anchor, and the ship  I just wish the embossed world map was a bit more visible.  The red flag helped bring the card to life. Since, I stamped the ship onto acetate it was easy to stitch the silver thread through it to make the sails look more realistic. I would do more of these...pirates are a super fun theme!
