That's Crafty May Challenge - layout

Hey, thanks for stopping by.
I wanted to share my knew layout called "A Quiet Moment." This layout was the perfect project to submit for the That's Crafty Challenge. Because of the quilt like appearance calico fabrics on the background papers, I chose to add faux stitching around two of the photos. Using a white gel pen, I was able to tie together the theme nicely and accentuate that homemade feel.

Ombre Background

If you feel intimidated by stamping backgrounds, fear no more.  One stamp and an ombre ink pad are all you need.  You can create stunning backgrounds with little effort that make even a beginner appear to be an expert.  My best tip is to make sure you rotate the position of the stamp on the ink pad in order to load it with slightly different color combinations with each new impression.  This card is entered in...

I'll Stand By You Flamingo Card

Hello Girls,
Stamping onto pattern paper provides a quick solution if you are not fond of the labor & time intensive task of coloring in images. By cleverly combining pattern papers, there was minimal effort to create this card with maximum impact.  Then, I just added a sassy sentiment to finish it off.  Happy Stamping!

Eye of the Beholder ATC

"Keep it simple" was my motto for these ATC's.  No glitter, no 3D embellishements...I just added a bit of Glossy Accents Clear Dimensional Paint to the eye.  I love my rainbow ink pad because it does all the work for me and creates so much interest and depth.

Quick Thank You Card

We all have those last minute occasions that catch us unprepared.  When you are struggling to create a card for the unexpected... all you need is patterned paper, a large sentiment, a bit of trim, and a cute flower stamp. I heat embossed with white powder and fussy cut it to create my own simple embellishment.  You will be amazed at what you can create from such few supplies.

Quick ATC Trio

Hey Gals,
Here is a quick and simple little trio of ATC's featuring the new set "Soulful Dolls" by Cathy Frailey.  I used a rainbow ink pad to create the colored face image. The same stamps were used with slight variation in placement.  I am entering my project in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Mother's Day Card - Challenge

Hello,
I thought I would share one of the beautiful new stamps from Blank Page Muse. This is a beautiful flower cluster that comes in a tropical theme set.  I stamped it multiple times and colored them with chalks to give them soft and subtle colors.  Finally, I added a bit of dimensional paint to finish off the centers and found it to be just perfect for Mother's Day!  Check it out at Blank Page Muse.
