Hello & Welcome,
Let me show you how easy it is to embellish a sunflower canvas. I found this pretty yet plain canvas very cheaply at a dollar discount store. The simplicity of nature is pefect for Autumn home decor. I just knew I could improve it by adding some Dew Drops. Super quick, super simple, and nearly like a paint by numbers kit. Once you find a canvas design you love, you can't really go wrong! The complete tutorial for this project can be found HERE on The Robin's Nest Blog.

Stunning Glitter Sunflower
Hey There,
I found this glittered wall hanging very cheaply at a dollar discount store. Although it was pretty, I knew I could improve it by adding some Dew Drops. As Dew Drops are transparent, they look even more amazing placed over a glittered surface. The hardest part is knowing when to stop adding more Dew Drops! The step by step directions can be found HERE.

Land Ahoy Layout
The little parrot you see on my shoulder is a beanie baby stuffed toy. I thought it was the perfect finishing touch for my pirate costume. I was especially pleased with how the telescope came to life when I fussy cut around it and brought it in front of the port hole window. I used many circles to keep unity within the layout which is reflected in the chipboard chain window, compass, gears, ship's wheel and gold coin. My fall embellishment is wood grain paper and jute twine. I doodled some details for the ships wheel and pirate ship.
Supplies:washi tape, baker's twine, jute
brown distress ink, black ink pad
