Hey, Little Monkey!

For today's layout I used 4 pages of 6x6 sheets from the PH Little Animals paper pad and created the look of a blanket for the background. I added hand stitched borders to give it the realistic look of a quilted blanket. The large palm trees were fussy cut from 12x12 Into the Wild paper and reassembled with foam tape to give a 3D layered affect. This layout came together very fast because the 3-D Embellishments were the perfect finishing touch.

                                   Shhhhhhhhhh, Little Monkey is Sleeping!

Take a look at the cutest little 3D monkey stickers.
Paper House has an amazing selection in nearly every theme imaginable.

Directions:
1. Use 4 PH 6x6 sheets to piece together the background. Pierce the edge of the squares with a needle and stitch around the edge of 2 of the squares with embroidery thread.

2. Cut out the palm trees from the 12x12 Into the Wild paper. Reassemble the palm trees with foam tape and adhere to the layout. Slightly curl up the edge of the leaves for a more realistic effect.

3. Next, matte the photo, mount it on foam tape, and adhere it to the lower right.

4. Finally, embellish the layout with PH monkey embellishments were desired.
