The Challenge: use black & white, plus one color of your choice. You absolutely must include stamping on your project. Don't worry, you do not have to use Rubber Dance stamps to participate. You might win a fabulous prize of Rubber Dance Stamps.
Here is my friendship card featuring two red daisies and stamped newsprint background with a torn edge. The perfect finishing touch was the addition of white Dew Drop jewels to accentuate the center of the daisies. I rarely if ever design on long narrow cards 4x8" but I should definitely do more of them.
For card #2, I stamped the background with Joggles Grunge Star Border Cling Stamp and then stamped dictionary definitions over the movie reel die cut from BoBunny. I stamped small stars and heat embossed with black glitter. Finally, I embellished the card with gems, Dew Drop Jewels, & mini silver star stickers.
Rubber Dance is still accepting submissions. (deadline - August 31)

The winners will be announced on September 5.

Hi Karen! How nice to see you join our challenge with three lovely cards!
Card 1: Nice touch with the cut out flowers with the Dew Drops in the centers. I agree, you should make more cards in that narrow rectangular size.
Card 2: Love the white on black, and the yellow paint makes the flowers pop. The cut out circles are a nice detail.
Card 3: Cool background stamp and a fun way to "spell" movie star with the movie reel and stars in different sizes!
Thank you for entering our August challenge at Rubber Dance ♥
I hope we'll see you again when we celebrate our challenge 2nd anniversary in September - i.e. in just a couple of days! :)
Hi Karen. Love the bright red flowers and also the delicate daisy card. Very striking against the black. Thanks for joining the Rubber Dance challenge. Hugz
